It is made of PVC (polyvinyl chloride) for strength, light weight, and resistance to corrosion, and it has a smooth bore for resistance to collection or blockage. It has nylon mesh braids for reinforcement and a Shore A Hardness rating of 80 for resistance to tear or puncture. It has an operating temperature range of -50 to +175 degrees F.
